About TrueCare senior daycare
TrueCare is a senior social daycare in Massapequa and Seaford, Long Island, serving the elderly, especially those with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

How TrueCare began
Carol Bottiglieri is founder, owner and onsite director of daily activities. Carol is a longtime resident of Massapequa and parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church.
After many years serving as a director of human resources, Carol became a caregiver for her own family members. Her love of the elderly led her to work for Senior Helpers in Garden City.
Eventually Carol realized that there is a great need for quality eldercare and started partnering with families to care for their senior relatives.
After nine years of caring one on one, Carol realized that more needed to be done to socialize the elderly. This led to the founding of TrueCare.

TrueCare’s philosophy
Our philosophy at TrueCare is that seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s do better in an environment that includes peer-to-peer socialization, structured activities, exercise and healthy meals.
We also realize the need for caregivers to have time away in order to take care of their own needs.
Our guide explains how adult day care can help someone with dementia or Alzheimer’s, and their caregivers.
Beautiful location, bright and airy. I would be more than happy to bring any senior here to spend some time. I met the owner, Carol, and she was wonderful.
